There was a single gas station in cities across Charlotte County selling midgrade gas at the lowest price of $3.47 per gallon in the week ending Aug. 31, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of midgrade gas in cities within Charlotte County was $3.76 per gallon.
Of the 67 reported gas stations in cities within Charlotte County, 30 offer midgrade gas.
The $3.73 average reported price of midgrade gas in Florida was unchanged from the previous week.
Drivers across the U.S. have faced a rollercoaster of gas prices in recent months and years. Though the cost of a gallon of gas is dropping, experts suggest they may rise to $4 before the end of 2024.
