On Saturday, March 22, former North Port High School standout Emani Jefferson’s current collegiate team the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles lost 81-58 against the Oklahoma Sooners in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Lloyd Noble Center, this was the first game against the Oklahoma Sooners during the championship.
Emani Jefferson’s hometown is Miami and game position is shooting guard.
