On Friday, Feb. 28, former Port Charlotte High School standout Mickey Coslor’s current college team, the Alabama State Lady Hornets, lost 17-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

The game took place at Nusz Park. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Lady Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 5 p.m. at Sunnyland Park against Bethune–Cookman Lady Wildcats.
