On Saturday, March 1, former North Port High School standout Jewelie Vanderkous’ current college team, the FIU Golden Panthers, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Saint Francis Red Flash.
The game took place at Felsberg Field at the FIU Softball Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Red Flash this season.
The Golden Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Monday, March 3 at 1:30 p.m. at FGCU Softball Complex against Saint Francis Red Flash.
