On Friday, Feb. 14, former Lemon Bay High School standout Bailey Grossenbacher’s current college team, the FIU Golden Panthers, won 4-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.
The game took place at Nancy Almaraz Field. This was their first matchup against the Redbirds this season.
The Golden Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 7:05 p.m. at Felsberg Field at the FIU Softball Stadium against Saint Francis Red Flash.
