On Tuesday, March 4, former Venice Senior High School standout Nate Winterhalter’s current college team, the Lander Bearcats, won 6-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wingate Bulldogs.
The game took place at Stephen B. Dolny Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at Jaguar Field against Augusta Jaguars.
