SARASOTA, FL — U.S. Representative Greg Steube (R-Fla.) announced his office is seeking veterans, Gold Star Families, and active-duty spouses for a two-year paid position in his Sarasota District Office as part of the Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program. The individual will work with military and veteran constituents to handle veterans-related casework and act as a facilitator between constituents and federal, state, and local agencies.

“I represent one of the largest veteran populations in the country. Providing top-notch constituent services to my fellow veterans is one of my office’s most important priorities,” said Rep. Steube. “That’s why I’m pleased to offer a new opportunity for a Veteran, Gold Star family member, or Active-Duty Spouse to join my office staff in Sarasota for a two-year paid position. This individual will understand the service and sacrifice associated with our military communities and will be instrumental in providing excellent constituent service to FL-17’s veterans.”

The Green & Gold Congressional Aide Program was established by the House of Representatives to provide employment opportunities for veterans, Gold Star Families, and active-duty spouses within member offices. The program is limited to those who meet all of the requirements.
