On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Venice Senior High School standout Nate Winterhalter’s current college team, the Lander Bearcats, won 17-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Chowan Hawks.
The game took place at Stephen B. Dolny Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Hawks this season.
The Bearcats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12 p.m. at Stephen B. Dolny Stadium against Chowan Hawks.
