Join the UWF Department of History and project partners as we unveil the Gulf Coast Digital History Project, a new online portal for Northwest Florida's diverse maritime history and heritage.

During this virtual session, Dr. Jamin Wells, UWF assistant professor of history, will share highlights from the thousands of historic documents digitized through the project. A panel of project experts will discuss the unique opportunities this project provides students, scholars, historians and maritime enthusiasts to explore our area's many museums, archives and historical societies from the comfort of home. A brief Q&A session will follow the discussion.
