Census Bureau: More women than men in Port Charlotte in 2019

Of the 62,327 people living in Port Charlotte in 2019, 51.4 percent (32,048) were women and 48.6 percent (30,279) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the West Florida News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 17,189-to-16,566. In the 65 and over age range, there were 10,410 females and 8,710 males.
