Charlotte County Sheriff's Office issued the following announcement on Aug. 4.
A HUGE thank you to the Charlotte-DeSoto Building Industry Association for donating $5,000.00 to the William R. Gaines Jr. Memorial Fund. The donated funds will go directly towards building supplies for the First Responders Memorial.
