43rd Annual Christmas Parade-December 11, 2021

Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Enter your Float, Marching/Performing Unit or Decorated Car/Pick-up in the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce 43rd Annual Christmas Parade being held on Saturday, December 11, 2021.  The parade steps off at noon from the Charlotte Performing Arts Center Parking lot, using Carmalita Street, to travel North on Taylor Road, through Downtown Punta Gorda, to disband at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center.  Our theme this year is Toys, Trains and Candy Canes!  The judges area will be in front of Centennial Bank.  Entry Fee For-Profit $35     Non-Profit $20   (Add $5 for each horse).   

Date and Time:

Saturday Dec 11, 2021

12:00 PM - 1:30 PM EST

The parade steps off at NOON and we invite the public to bring a lawn chair or blanket and find the perfect spot along the route to enjoy the parade.

For those who have an entry registered for the parade please plan to arrive at the staging area according to the following schedule:

Floats (flatbeds, semis or trailers): Arrive no later than 9:00 a.m.

Cars, Pick Up Trucks:  Arrive no later than 10:30 a.m.

Band Members:  Arrive no later than 11:00 a.m.

Dignitaries:  Arrive no later than 11:00 a.m.

Marching/Performing units and Horses:  Arrive no later than 11:15 a.m.

Location:

We encourage participants to park at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center disbanding area and ride the one way shuttle to the staging area at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center.  The shuttle starts at 9:30 a.m. and stops at 11:30 a.m. so please be on time.
