County of Charlotte issued the following announcement on Dec. 22
A portion of the Live Oak Point pier and boardwalk is closed due to damage from high winds. Access to the park is still available from the southbound Tamiami Trail connecting boardwalk. The park is located at 5100 Tamiami Trail, Charlotte Harbor, 33980.
