Desoto County's Sheriff Potter presents the Desoto County Sherriff's Office's Active Shooter Awareness Training for the Public

This program will be offered on two separate dates at South Florida State College, DeSoto Campus. You must be 18 years of age or older to attend. This training provides an overview of active shooter incidents and best practices for preparing for, preventing, and responding to an active shooter at your church, business, or other venues. The “Run, Hide, Fight” training model will be discussed, including tactics and strategies of what to do when law enforcement arrives.
