44th Annual Christmas Parade Dec. 10, 2022

Join us for the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce 44th Annual Christmas Parade! 

Fishing You a Merry Christmas is our theme this year.  THIS EVENT IS FULL AND WE ARE SORRY THAT YOU MISSED THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE TO ENTER YOUR GROUP/BUSINESS.  HOWEVER, WE HOPE YOU WILL BRING YOUR LAWN CHAIR AND  JOIN THE CROWD ON THE SIDEWALK ON TAYLOR ST. 

The Position numbers have been emailed, call 941-627-2222 if you did not receive yours.

Enter your  Float, Marching/Performing Group or Decorated Car/Pick-up!

When you register through the online registration link, please provide a brief biography or sentiment to be read during the parade by the Master of Ceremonies.  Choose the category in which you would like to be judged. and provide us with the length of your entry and/or number of walkers so that we can properly set up the staging area.

Or  Print and return the Christmas Parade Registration Flyer with your entry fee and details to the Charlotte County Chamber, 2702 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL 33952 no later than November 18.

Entry Fee: 
$35 for profit.  
$20 non-profit
(Add $5.00 for each horse)

Remember, the only Santa permitted in the parade will be the official Santa Claus designated by the Chamber. 

Date and Time:

Saturday Dec 10, 202212:00 PM - 2:00 PM EST

The Parade steps off at Noon from Charlotte Performing Arts Center, travels up Taylor to disband at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center.  The Judging will take place in front of Centennial Bank.

Location:

The Parade will take place in Downtown Punta Gorda Florida and steps off at Noon.

Staging area schedule:

Floats:  Arrive no later than 9:00 a.m

Cars, Pick-up Trucks:  Arrive no later than 10:30 a.m.

Band Members:  Arrive no later than 11:00 a.m.

Dignitaries:  Arrive no later than 11:00 a.m

Marching/Performing Units and Horses:  Arrive no later than 11:15 a.m.
