City of Punta Gorda issued the following announcement on Sept. 24.
Due to unforeseen installation complications the Hounds on Henry Dog Park will remain closed for the installation of the K9 grass (weather permitting). The Dog Park is now tentatively scheduled to re-open on Thursday, Sept. 30. For additional information on this project, please contact City of Punta Gorda Public Works Department, Facilities Maintenance Supervisor Don Ryan at (941) 575-5041 between the business hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday.
