Elk's Lodge 2606 is sponsoring the Annual Veteran's Day in Punta Gorda, Fl. on Saturday, November 6, 2021.
This event celebrates the service and sacrifice of our Nations Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen and Coast Guardsmen.
The Parade participants will step-off at 10:00 from the corner of Carmelita Street & Cooper Street, traveling to Taylor Road and ending West Retta Esplanade.
Participating organizations include Vintage Car Motor Car Club, the Conquistadors, American Legion Post 103, DAR of Charlotte County, Girl Scouts of Gulf Coast Fl., Lions Club, Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 98, Guns and Hoses Pipes and Drums Group, and many more. Supporting organizations include our Downtown Merchants, our Local Fire and Police Departments, City of Punta Gorda, Chamber of Commerce, and many others.
During the Parade route, Antique Automobiles and Floats will compete and judges will award prizes .
Plan on attending---Pray for good weather -- bring a lawn hair--- and remember to say "Thank You For Your Service" to a Veteran and their families that day.
