County of Charlotte issued the following announcement on Mar. 4.
Playground shade installation will begin at two county parks on March 7, 2022. Carmalita Park softball fields at 2605 Carmalita St., Punta Gorda, FL 33950 and Randy Spence Park at 4333 Kerrigan Circle, Port Charlotte, FL 33953 playgrounds will be closed intermittently as work is completed. Please use caution around construction areas.
