Charlotte County issued the following announcement on Mar. 9.
The Charlotte County Commission will conduct a special meeting at 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2022, or as soon thereafter as it may be heard, in Room 119 of the Charlotte County Administration Center, 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte, FL. Discussions is limited to the condemnation of President Vladimir Putin for his invasion of Ukraine and a related letter regarding energy independence.
The public is invited to attend and provide input.
