The Charlotte County Libraries & History division will be hosting a Fall Fest Backpack Giveaway on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 12 - 2 p.m. at the Family Services Center, 21500 Gibralter Drive, Port Charlotte to ensure Charlotte County students are prepared for their return to the classroom following Hurricane Ian. Backpacks will be stuffed with school supplies provided by donors.
There will be crafts and food available while supplies lasts. The event is free to attend.
