The Charlotte County Utilities Department has received an influx of odor complaints. Please be aware that you may be experiencing sewer type odors from decaying vegetation and waterbodies in the area.
Please call our office at 941-764-4300 if you see a water coming out of the ground, are experiencing a sewer backup or your low pressure sewer alarm has been activated. We are working on these requests as they come in.
