The Metropolitan Planning Organization - Citizens’ Advisory Committee is seeking one South County representative; one at-large representative; and two Mid-County representatives. Individuals must be residents of Charlotte County to serve on the CAC. The CAC reviews and makes recommendations on transportation plans and projects the MPO Board will consider.

The Metropolitan Planning Organization - Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee is seeking one South County representative; one West County representative (applicant must live west of the Myakka River); and two Mid-County representatives. Individuals must be residents of Charlotte County to serve on the BPAC. The BPAC reviews and makes recommendations on transportation plans and projects the MPO Board will consider.

The Metropolitan Planning Organization - Charlotte County Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board is seeking one volunteer representing the economically disadvantaged (rule: "A person who is recognized by the Florida Association for Community Action (President), representing the economically disadvantaged in the county."); and one disabled representative who is disabled. The purpose of the LCB is to identify local service needs and to provide information, advice, and direction to the Community Transportation Coordination of service to be provided to the transportation disadvantaged

The Marine Advisory Committee is seeking three members at large, one Port Charlotte Yacht Club member, one Peace River member, one Harbour Heights member and one USCGA Flotilla 99-Cape Haze member for terms effective Dec. 31, 2022 and expiring Dec. 31, 2025. The Agriculture & Natural Resources Advisory Committee is looking for an individual that is a representative of an agriculturally related activity within Charlotte County. The Construction Industry Licensing Board is seeking a volunteer to represent the general contractor category. Volunteer must be an active licensed general contractor and be a resident of Charlotte County for at least two years. Length of term is four years.
