Description:

If you love taking photos this event is for you! All ages can participate. Entries will be displayed during the month of March at one of the four library locations.· Color or black & white photos are welcome.· One entry per person.· Pictures are submitted via email and must be .JPG format.· The three age categories are: Adults ages 19 and up, Teens ages 13 -18 Children ages 6 - 12· No alteration or manipulation of photographs is permitted except for cropping, red eye removal, and/or adjustment of contrast and brightness.· Photo theme should reflect our community.· By entering, entrants represent and warrant that the photograph they submit:o Is their own original creation, or that they are submitting on behalf of a child that the photograph is that child’s original creation; ando Have not been submitted previously in a contest or promotion of any kind.· By entering, entrants agree to have their submitted photograph used and displayed on the Sponsor’s website, social media, print materials, and any other communication avenues.· Entries must be received at PortCharlotteLibrary@CharlotteCountyFL.gov by the end of January. Include first and last name of the photographer, age category, and a phone number.· Community professionals will judge all entries during the month of February.· 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes of $75, $50 and $25 will be awarded in each age category.Winners’ presentations will take place at the Port Charlotte Public Library in April.
