Rio De Janeiro Avenue from Rampart Boulevard to Deep Creek Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in various sections from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 6 and Monday, Jan. 9. Warning signs and flaggers will be in place to aid in travel through this area. Travelers may experience slow-moving traffic and temporary delays and should allow extra time when planning to travel through this area.
The Utilities Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
