UF/IFAS Extension Charlotte County will be hosting a class “The Houseplant Renaissance” at Centennial Park Recreation Center, 1120 Centennial Blvd., Port Charlotte on Jan. 31 from 6:30-8 p.m. The guest speaker, Marc Frank, extension botanist at UF/IFAS Plant ID and Information Services, will talk about growing and collecting houseplants.
Houseplants are back in style and houseplants sales are booming. This class will look at what’s driving this renewed interest in houseplants as well as the factors that contribute to success in growing them.
Registration is $10 per person and pre-registration is required. Online registration is open on Eventbrite.
